JOSILYN HARSH GLAM PORTRAIT SESSION…

I must admit, I've been a little swamped lately and haven't been posting as much on here. I promise I'll be fixing that soon! I have this post and a couple more on their way. It's getting to be that "busy season" here in a minute but I'm excited and ready for it! But first can we talk about how glamorous Josilyn is? She is a real gem on the inside and out and it was such a pleasure to work with such a beautiful soul. I know most photographers keep their locations and timing "hush hush" but I honestly love to share the fun spots that I find. We took this session at Rock Canyon in Provo, UT around 11 AM in full sun. We found this particular spot just south of the main entrance. It took about 15 minutes of light hiking and it was worth it! & I know most photographers shy away from shooting in direct sun to avoid harsh shadows, etc. but I'm kind of loving it lately... you can get some really awesome sun flares and artsy effects with it. I encourage my fellow photogs to try it more often!

Anyways, as I was looking through these photos, I couldn't help but think of The Little Mermaid. Not exactly sure why, maybe it's the rock? haha idk but let me know if any of you see the same thing! ha ENJOY :)

Bailee Clark Portrait Session

BAILEE CLARKE MODEL PORTRAIT SESSION…

Bailee came to me a couple weeks ago asking for some modeling advice since I used to be a model in the past. We decided to do a photoshoot up big cottonwood canyon on a snowy day to help give her some experience. She definitely has a lot of raw talent and is undeniably gorgeous. The most important thing to remember while being a model or getting photographed in general, is to be completely natural but also aware of your posture and facial expressions. My job while coaching Bailee, was to help her feel relaxed and confident as well as remind her to always continue a slow steady movement. & when in doubt, just laugh it off and let your own personality shine through. I think she did an amazing job and I'm so happy with how these photos turned out! ENJOY :)

Puppy Portrait Session

KUMA & MIKAYLA DRINKWATER PORTRAIT SESSION…

I'm not sure if any of you have noticed that I'm obsessed with my Akita Inu dogs or not... well to clarify, I'm totally obsessed. I've also managed getting my bff, Mikayla obsessed as well. So, naturally she adopted a sibling of one of my puppies a little while back.

It was only fitting to take a mini "family photo session" of the new addition because they are both beyond perfection. I must admit that we took these photos a little while ago and I'm just getting to them. my bad! I hope you all still love the edits!
